Evolving over the hills of Haut Koenigsbourg, it has benefited from its environment at moderate altitude, around 350 m altitude, to develop all its assets.
A typical golden white colour with a beautiful clarity and brightness. The nose reveals some notes of aniseed (characteristic of a Riesling Hahnenberg older than three years) and hawthorn. In the mouth it develops richness with a good acidic support with a fruity taste at the end.
It has all the advantages of a good wine that can be kept for many years.

Its small grapes, like green beans, slowly ripen in the sun and have a late maturity. They require soil exposure particularly favourable to the sun. The Riesling grape is probably the one that best expresses the identity of its geologic soil.
